Pipeline Leak Detection

Leak location systems from Pure Technologies are designed to locate leaks in large diameter mains. These system uses either a a tether-controlled sensor or free-swimming ball that is passed through a pipeline, giving utilities the opportunity to prevent leaks from becoming breaks and saving lost water in the process. Because these inspections can be conducted through an existing taps while the pipeline is in service, there is no disruption to water service.
